• Reverse: Presidential Seal with two torches and excerpt from his inaugural address:
“We shall pay any price, bear any burden… assure the survival of liberty.”
Dated JANUARY 20, 1961.
• Designer: Paul Manship (noted American sculptor).
• Composition: Bronze

• Mintage: ~53,000 pieces struck by Medallic Art Co. for the official Inaugural Committee.
