M?ary is Mary Travers’ first solo album following Peter, Paul & Mary, released in 1971 on Warner Bros. Records. Produced by longtime collaborator Milton Okun and recorded by Phil Ramone, the album reflects the early-’70s folk-pop sound with thoughtful, intimate arrangements.
Includes songs by John Denver, Rod McKuen, Bill Danoff, and Elton John/Bernie Taupin, blending contemporary songwriting with Travers’ clear, expressive vocal style. A solid period piece from the post-PP&M era.
