Vintage McCoy pottery “Spirit of ’76” patriotic pitcher featuring a bald eagle with outstretched wings over crossed American flags. This ceramic pitcher has a rounded body, defined pouring spout, and curved handle, finished in McCoy’s classic brown and cream glaze. The underside is marked “Carved Wooden Eagle, Artist Unknown, National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.,” consistent with McCoy’s Bicentennial-era production. Measures approximately 6 inches tall and about 5 inches wide. Condition is very good with no cracks or chips noted, showing light glaze wear consistent with age and normal use.
